Hamptons/West EdmontonHello my name is Tena I I’m a mother to 2 children and a foster mom to 3 all who are school age. My dayhome is located in the Hamptons/Parkland area; open Monday – Friday 6:00am - 5:30pm. The dayhome currently has openings for children 3yrs and older, with an infant space opening in May 09. Yellow bus is provided for children who attend Belmead School and some Catholic schools. Some of the activities we can be found doing are outings, crafts, playing in the backyard pool, School age children are welcome to attend an annual camp with me in August. I give the children in my care opportunities to learn in a family environment where they can feel safe and loved, and can begin to build a positive self esteem. Your child will receive quality personal and individualized care in a warm and loving home. Just a few of my qualifications are; I have current Child and Infant first aid and CPR; I have a level 1 in Early Childhood currently finishing my level 2; I have organized and taught playschool for 5 yrs have had the joy of providing care to children for over 10yrs. In that time I had the opportunity to watch each of the children grow, some of them I have even seen grow from toddlers into teens. For me this is what dayhome care is truly about a home away from home. I’m with an accredited Dayhome agency so subsidy is available.
