Hello,
My day home is finally open and I am now accepting children ages 5+. My husband and I have two of our own children, ages 6 & 9. They are just as excited as I am to make new friends!
I am currently offering before and after school care. I will not be driving my day home children, but if your child(s) happen to go to the same school as our boys- I will, together with my boys, walk your child to and from school.
My hours of availability are from Monday- Friday, 6 am- 6pm. I am with an accredited agency, offer nutritious meals & snacks, subsidy available and wonderful care for your child.
My family and I are looking for to making new friendships~
I have 3 flyers posted up in our son's school, online etc. I did also let the school secretary know about my dayhome finally open and can help parents. No school children inquiries yet, had lots of infants- but nothing for K-6. I will ask today if the school secretary can add my dayhome to the monthly school flyer. Hope she says yes.
Thank you for the suggestion I guess I will just continue to wait and hope for the best!
I haven't had any calls for months (luckily I managed to fill my space thru a recomendation)
I think a lot of people are working part time so they don't have to worry about childcare
Yes, its getting rough. I have had tons of inquiries for young infants but while working at school for the lunch hour, I had to turn several parents away . I had one inquiry from a lady that has a one yr old little girl and her hours work great it is part time, but thats ok. I am thankful for a little work. I have another interview tomorrow, but the hours are pretty late. I will see how that goes. Come September I might have a parent (we know each other from our childrens school) and it will be before and after school care. I look forward to that.
